When I was on the hunt for a A6 planner several years ago, I found it rather tricky to find one. I'm in the UK and my first thought was to look on Amazon. What I'd realised from my search was that an A6 planner is not always an A6 planner. Especially if like me, you're in the UK and your planner cover shop options are mostly online.

Unfortunately, there are many shops online who are selling personal planners mis-labelled as A6 planners. This happens frequently with planners purchased from Amazon, or planners sold as 'budget' or 'cash stuffing planners' on Etsy. The result of this is that many people who think they have an A6 planner actually have a personal sized one.

After being sent two personal sized planners, I finally gave in and splashed out on a gorgeous one from Van Der Spek. Since then I've had an A6 planner from Moterm, but even now, A6 options are limited.

So what does each size look like?

When you're looking at the sizes next to each other, you can see they're very different! The holes are not compatible between the sizes, which makes it even worse if you make any mistakes. It's worth taking the time to check page dimensions while shopping!
